Abstract
The exponential growth of the freelancing sector highlights the need for platforms that tackle issues of efficiency, security, and usability. Through user surveys and competitive analysis, this paper analyses current freelance platforms and identifies important deficiencies such fragmented communication, insecure payments, and ineffective job matching. Our study suggests FreeFlow, a MERN stack-based solution that uses escrow payment, real-time collaboration tools, and skill-based job matching algorithms to improve user experience. Iterative UIUX design, machine learning integration for tailored recommendations, and thorough testing phases were all part of the platform's development. FreeFlow's effectiveness in simplifying project management, increasing task matching accuracy by 30%, and building confidence through safe transactions is demonstrated by an analysis of user input and performance indicators. This study provides developers with recommendations for future platform improvements and highlights the significance of new technologies and user-centered design in addressing issues in the freelancing ecosystem.
