Abstract
Video conferencing technology have become increas- ingly popular as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic, turning vir- tualplatforms become indispensable communication tools. This paper summarizes current findings on the application of artificialintelligence and machine learning (AIML) to video conferencing, looking at developments, constraints, and the urgent problem ofmanaging personal data. Artificial intelligence (AI)-powered features like virtual backdrops, real-time transcription, and noisereduction have greatly improved user experiences and promoted more efficient conversation. But the spread of these platforms hasalso sparked worries about cybersecurity, data privacy, and growing operational complexity. The literature study emphasizes how AIaffects accessibility enhancements, remote collaboration, and user experience. The necessity of scalable and smooth AI integration, thepotential of AI in video conferencing, and the shortcomings of existing researchsuch as ethical and data privacy issues, scalabilityand cross-platform integration, striking a balance between automation and user control, a lack of research on informalcommunication, the assessment of the efficacy of AI features, accessibility, and the absence of standardized metrics for AIperformanceare covered in key insights. Future perspectives include the need for improved privacy and data security measures, AIdriven adaptive interfaces, cross-platform integration, sophisticated AI features for accessibility and real- time collaboration, ethicalconsiderations, and long-term user behavior and impact studies. Future platforms will be more safe, effective, and user-focused ifthese issues are resolved and the full potential of AI and ML in video conferencing is utilized.Index TermsVideo Conferencing, Artificial Intelligence, Ma- chine Learning, User Experience, Noise Suppression, Data Pri- vacy,CyberSecurity
