Abstract
Store owners of hardware stores can keep track of sales and purchases with the aid of an inventory management system, a piece of software. Customer dissatisfaction, excessive cash stashed in warehouses, and slower sales are all consequences of mismanaged inventory. Paperwork, human error, manual delay, and process speeding are all eliminated by this project. Store owners can be informed by an inventory management system about when to reorder and how much to buy, as well as about sales and available inventory. The Windows programme Inventory Management System was created with the purpose of controlling inventory and producing the different kinds of reports that are needed. It is compatible with Windows operating systems. The company is able to keep computerised records up to date without having duplicate entries. This implies that in order to access the information, one need not be sidetracked by irrelevant information. The goal is to use computerised systems to automate the current manual system, equipment and sophisticated computer software, meeting their needs, enabling the long-term storage of their priceless data and information with simple access and manipulation. In essence, the project outlines how to manage for optimal performance and improved client services.
