Abstract
In an era marked by technological advancements, ensuring efficient healthcare delivery and patient safety is paramount. This paper introduces a pioneering solution: the Smart Visual Inspection and IV Monitoring System with IoT. This innovative system integrates state-of-the-art technologies including Internet of Things (IoT), visual inspection, and IV monitoring to revolutionise patient care and medical procedures. By employing advanced sensors and IoT connectivity, the system enables real-time monitoring of intravenous (IV) therapy, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of medications and fluids while minimising the risk of complications. Additionally, the incorporation of visual inspection capabilities allows for the automated detection of anomalies and irregularities in medical equipment and procedures, further enhancing patient safety and treatment efficacy. Through a comprehensive approach encompassing system design, development, and implementation, this paper outlines the methodology employed to create and deploy the Smart Visual Inspection and IV Monitoring System. Furthermore, potential future enhancements such as machine learning algorithms, predictive analytics, and telemedicine integration are discussed, highlighting the system's scalability and adaptability to evolving healthcare needs.
