Abstract
ABSTRACT:The rapid growth of technology andinfrastructure has made our lives easier. Theadvent of technology has also increased thetraffic hazards and the road accidents takeplace frequently which causes huge loss of lifeand property because of the poor emergencyfacilities.Our project will provide an optimum solutionto this drawback. An accelerometer can beused as a crash or rollover detector of thevehicle during and after a crash. Thevibration sensor can be used in order to checkthe vibration rates of the car. By monitoringthe data from accelerometer and the vibrationsensor, a severe accident can be recognized. Itthen sends the alert message through the GSMModule including the latitude and longitudedataprovided by the GPS module to policecontrol room or a rescue team. So the policecan immediately trace the location where theaccident has occurred and necessary actioncan be taken after receiving the emergencymessage.Keywords: Arduino Uno, 16X2 LCD display,ADXL Accelerometer, GPS module, GSMmodule, Arduino uno board.
