Abstract
In recent years, biometric authentication has emerged as a critical security solution for personal and organizational data protection. Among the various methods, vein pattern recognition stands out due to its high accuracy, resistance to spoofing, and inherent uniqueness. This paper proposes an enhanced biometric authentication system leveraging innovative vein pattern analysis to provide a robust, non-intrusive, and reliable solution for identity verification. By integrating advanced imaging technologies such as infrared and thermal sensing with state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms, the proposed system enhances the precision of vein detection, ensuring real-time authentication with minimal latency. Additionally, the system employs multimodal fusion with other biometric traits, such as fingerprints and facial recognition, to bolster security against sophisticated spoofing attempts. With a focus on anti-spoofing measures, including live blood flow detection and environmental adaptations, the proposed system offers a secure, scalable, and user-friendly alternative to traditional biometrics. This research outlines the key components of the system, its potential applications in various industries, and the necessary considerations for ensuring privacy and security in the age of digital identity.
