Abstract
Intoday'slife,wehavetofacemanyproblems:Traffichasbecomemoreandmoreserious.Carownershipishighamongthepopulationandeconomicdevelopmentisanimportantfactorintransportation.Trafficcongestionisaconditionoftheroadnetworkthatoccurswithincreasedusageandischaracterizedbyslowervehiclespeeds,longerjourneytimesandlongerjourneys.Currently,mostofthetrafficlightsinthecountryoperateonafixedcycleorarecheckedbytrafficinspectors23timesaday,dependingonthecharacteristicsofthetraffic.Theseguidelinesandsolutionsaredesignedtoidentifysectionsoftheroadwithlesstraffic,butforlargesectionssuchsolutionsarenotgoodduetothechangeinshort-termspatio-temporalcongestion.WeusetheWi-Fi-enabledWeMosD1withanESP8266moduletosendandreceivedata.WeMosconnectstotheTelegrambottocommunicatewiththesystemandretrieveAPIkeysfromtheGoogleCloudPlatform.Here,latitudeandlongitudeareenteredinthecommandgiventothetelegrambot,whichallowsustounderstandthecongestionandtheneedtochangetrafficinaregion.Thetrafficlevelwilldeterminethetimingofaparticularaspectoftrafficlights.
