Abstract
Software testing is a crucial phase in the software development lifecycle, Ensuring the functionality, reliability, and robustness of applications. "Auto Test Gen" introduces an intelligent, automated approach to test case generation, leveraging OpenAI's GPT-3.5 Turbo, a state-of-the-art language model. The system analyzes code snippets to understand their logic, inputs, outputs, and potential error conditions, crafting comprehensive test cases tailored to diverse scenarios, including edge cases and error conditions. By automating this process, the solution significantly reduces manual effort, minimizes human errors, and accelerates testing cycles, all while maintaining high-quality standards. A user-friendly Streamlit interface empowers developers to input their code and receive a detailed suite of test cases, complete with explanations and expected outcomes. This novel integration of Al into the testing domain not only streamlines the process but also enhances software reliability, offering significant value to agile and rapid development workflows.
