Abstract
ABSTRACTWater is an important element. Most geoscientists concentrate on the water-related problems of the globe. This primary study is to evaluate the ground water level of the study area. The study area is geographically located from 10o 44N to 10o 53latlitude and 78o.37E to78o 4East longitude. The study area is 146.90 sq. km with an average height of 78 m from the mean sea level. The data has been collected for fifteen years (2021-2007) from the concerned department, Government of Tamilnadu for this present study. As it is the government of Tamilnadu press report Tiruchirappalli district is also one of the fast degraded groundwater levels. In Tiruchirappalli District, during the pre-monsoon, the water level generally in degrees in a trend ranges from G.L. to 15m. The depth well below the Ground Level of 12.0m becomes dry during hot seasons like May, June, and July.
