Abstract
As technology continues to advance, touchless controls such as gesture and face recognition are increasingly becoming integral to the field of human-computer interaction (HCI). This review paper explores the emerging trends and potential applications of gesture and face recognition technologies, focusing on their role in enhancing interactive systems. By surveying recent advancements in relevant hardware and algorithms, this paper identifies opportunities for improving user engagement and interactivity within presentation environments. The discussion includes an overview of popular frameworks employed in the field, providing a foundation for future research while ensuring the uniqueness of ongoing projects. This study aims to contribute to the understanding of the integration of gesture and face recognition technologies in various applications, highlighting the importance of continuedexplorationin thisinnovativeareaof HCI.
